The Pen Tool
The Pen Tool brings to Photoshop the flexibility of a real pen, and then some. Besides the possibility of actually continually drawing around a subject , it brings the flexibility of the anchor points. Thru the anchor points, the pen tool gives us the power of drawing more accurate.

Create a new copy of the original, in case of any problems we will always be able to go back.
Pick the Pen Tool and start wrapping around the eagle.

Once you “pened” around the eagle, to actually make it a selection: right click and select “Make Selection”

Now that we transformed the pen wrapping into a selection, we can continuu the process of removing the background. But first, we need to make some touchups.

To get a more effective selection, just apply the refine edge and apply the same steps did on the Lasso tool.

Now that we selected the eagle, all that needs to be done is the removal of the eagle in a new layer.

Right click “Layer via Copy” and will move the eagle to a new layer and that’s about it.
